MERKAZ L’CHINUCH HATORAH

The child or adolescent who has difficulty in Torah learning is not a new phenomenon. The Talmud is replete with examples of talmidim who had problems in learning. Yet a child of any age experiencing difficulty in his Limudei Kodesh studies poses a serious problem to his parents, his yeshiva, and most of all, to himself. Social and emotional, as well as intellectual and spiritual growth are bound up with a young person’s success in his Torah learning. Unfortunately, many yeshivos do not have the facilities or resources to properly help talmidim with learning problems. Yet it is optimal for a student to remain in his regular yeshiva setting while receiving appropriate remedial help. For this reason, Merkaz L’Chinuch HaTorah was founded.

THE KRIAH CLINIC
|
The Kriah Clinic addresses the problem of a talmid, in the elementary or mesivta years, who is weak in the basic skills of kriah and therefore missing the very foundation upon which his learning and his davening, will be built. The Kriah Clinic provides these skills quickly, effectively, and enjoyably.

THE GEMARA SKILLS PROGRAM

A highly individualized and discrete program, The Gemara Skills Program has provided scores of boys and young men, from middle school through Mesivta age, from Bais Medrash to Kollel, and beyond, with the skills and support they need to maintain and achieve authentic success in their learning, while remaining in their own Yeshivas.
